Release date: June 7th 2024

We are alive only by His grace.
Thank Him for every day you have above ground, and worship Him continuously.
Read His Word, daily: “Give us this day our daily bread”
Jesus is the bread that feeds us and gives us life and truth.

To Him be all the Glory, Power, and Majesty!!
God of Glory, God of Power, God of Majesty!!!

Psalm 30

I will extol and praise You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up,
And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.
I cried to You for help, and You have healed me.
Lord, You have brought my life up from Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead);
You have kept me alive, so that I would not go down to the pit (grave).
Sing to the Lord, O you His godly ones,
And give thanks at the mention of His holy name.
For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may endure for a night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
As for me, in my prosperity I said,
“I shall never be moved.”
By Your favor and grace, O Lord, you have made my mountain stand strong;
You hid Your face, and I was horrified.
I called to You, O Lord,
And to the Lord I made supplication (specific request).
“What profit is there in my blood (death), if I go down to the pit (grave)?
Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness [to man]?
“Hear, O Lord, be gracious and show favor to me;
O Lord, be my helper.”
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me;
You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

“Deliverance from Death” is a powerful and evocative worship song that draws heavily from themes of divine rescue, gratitude, and transformation. Here are some key aspects of the song:

  1. Themes of Deliverance and Healing: The song speaks to God’s intervention in times of deep distress, emphasizing how He lifts the faithful from the depths of despair (Sheol) and heals them. This portrays God as a savior and healer.
  2. Contrast of Emotions: The lyrics contrast moments of despair (“weeping may endure for a night”) with the ultimate triumph and joy that comes from God’s intervention (“a shout of joy comes in the morning”). This highlights the transient nature of suffering and the enduring nature of God’s favor.
  3. Expression of Gratitude: The song is filled with expressions of gratitude towards God for His mercy and grace. The act of singing to the Lord and giving thanks emphasizes a response of worship and praise for His benevolence.
  4. Transformation: The transformation from mourning to dancing and from sackcloth to joy is a central theme, symbolizing the profound change that God’s intervention brings to the believer’s life.
  5. Faith and Dependence: The lyrics reflect a deep faith and dependence on God. The singer acknowledges their own vulnerability and God’s strength, favor, and grace as the source of their stability and resilience.
  6. Biblical Foundations: The song is deeply rooted in biblical language and imagery, particularly from the Psalms. This gives it a sense of timelessness and connection to the broader scriptural narrative.
  7. Musical Structure: The song’s structure likely includes a blend of reflective verses and an uplifting, celebratory chorus. This dynamic allows for a journey from introspection to exuberant praise, mirroring the transformation described in the lyrics.

“Deliverance from Death” resonates with listeners by offering a narrative of hope and redemption, encouraging them to see God’s hand in their own times of trouble and to respond with gratitude and joy.
